State Rep. Perry Warren
As our State Representative for the 31st District since 2016, Perry is running unopposed in 2020. As his campaign slogan suggests, Perry is indeed a "No Flash, Just Work" politician, who has done an outstanding job for our community. In 2020 and beyond, he will continue to press for environmental protections, affordable college and job training, election reforms, an increase to the minimum wage, support for local business, sensible gun legislation, and funding for public health issues such as the opioid crisis.

Perry is a community leader and, before representing the district in Harrisburg, served in local office as a member of the Newtown Borough Council for almost seven years. During his time on council, Perry helped pass bipartisan budgets, worked to preserve our parks and open space, and helped write the Borough's anti-discrimination ordinance, which defends the LBGT community from discrimination in employment and access to public accommodations.
Perry was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2016. Since being elected, Perry has helped pass legislation increasing funding towards our education system and treating Pennsylvania's opioid epidemic. Perry has also fought to end partisan gerrymandering, supporting recent efforts to reform voting districts within Pennsylvania. As state representative, Perry has made it his goal to better our community in a number of ways --- by working to improve infrastructure, reducing the cost of flood insurance, and preserving our environment.
